16 March 2010 – Doha, Qatar – The selection of Barcelona as host the 2012 World Junior Championships and a detailed progress report by the Local Organising Committee of the World Championships in Athletics – Daegu 2011 highlighted the concluding day of the IAAF Council Meeting in Doha.
16 March 2010 - London, UK - European Indoor 3000m champion Mo Farah and European Cross Country Champion Hayley Yelling are amongst 21 athletes selected for the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships to be held in Bydgoszcz, Poland on 28 March. 

15 March 2010 – Monte-Carlo - The IAAF World Indoor Championships closed in spectacular fashion with a World record in Doha, Qatar yesterday (14), and in just under nine weeks time, to be precise on Friday 14 May the elite of the athletics world will again assemble in Doha to compete in the opening meeting of the IAAF Diamond League.
