COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The UIC baseball team opened its season at No. 5 Texas A&M as the Aggies unveiled their newly-renovated Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, a $24 complex that welcomed over 5,300 fans on Friday night. The Flames suffered a 10-0 loss in a game that was postponed in the bottom of the sixth inning and resumed on Saturday afternoon due to inclement weather.

CHICAGO – The UIC baseball team has taken advantage of Chicago’s recent above average winter temperatures by actually holding their first few official practices on outside. The spring-like weather has provided head coach Mike Dee and his staff the opportunity to instruct their squad on the team’s home turf of Les Miller Field as opposed to UIC’s indoor facilities.
